We are looking for volunteers to help us serve our community at the parenting seminar coming up on November 1 (seminar details below). Here are some of the ways you can contribute!:

  • Bring a dessert (for 10 people)
  • Be a coffee and dessert server on the night of the event (6 people)
  • Be a member of the registration team at the event, signing people in and handing out name tags (4 people)
  • Help with set up at the middle school, 5:00 – 6:15 (4 people)
  • Help with tear down and clean up at the middle school, 9:00 – 10:00 (4 people)
  • Serve at one of the information desks for kids club, youth group, “Parenting through the Stages” 7:00-8:00, 9:00-9:30 pm (4 people)
  • After event contact to all participants (this will be done on Saturday, Nov 2, and will be by phone, text, or email to all participants in the seminar. You can do this from home, but you must be willing to send up to 20 texts, emails, or make phone calls. (8 people)


Speaker: Roy Baldwin, Director, Monadnock Christian Ministries*

Session 1: What Kind of Parent am I?
Session 2: Creating Healthy Boundaries with Social Media

Location: Easton Middle School Auditorium, 98 Columbus Avenue, Easton MA

Admission: $5 per person, all proceeds donated to the Easton Food Pantry

*Roy Baldwin is the Executive Director at Monadnock Christian Ministries and the former Director of Parenting and Youth for Focus on the Family. Roy has experienced the challenges of today’s family as a Family Advocate in New York City, a surrogate parent with his wife in Central Pennsylvania, and as an administrator at a therapeutic foster care agency. He received his BA in Social Science from Nyack College, and he has an MA from Duquesne University in Leadership. Roy Baldwin has the honor of being married to his best friend, Karen, and leading and loving his three children.
